Warranty Terms

1-Year Limited Warranty

London Sunshine (“LS”, “we,” “us,” or “our”) warrants eligible London Sunshine products against defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use for one (1) year from the date of delivery.

This Limited Warranty applies to the original retail purchaser of an eligible London Sunshine product purchased directly from London Sunshine or from an authorized London Sunshine seller in the United States or Canada.

Proof of purchase may be required for all warranty claims.

What Is Covered

During the applicable warranty period, London Sunshine warrants that covered products and components will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use, assembly, operation, and maintenance.

For London Sunshine ceramic Kamado grills, covered components may include, where supplied with the product:

  • Ceramic dome and base;
  • Firebox, fire ring, and other structural ceramic components;
  • Metal bands, hinges, vents, cooking grids, fire grates, and other structural metal components;
  • Thermometers and other factory-installed functional components;
  • Handles, side shelves, carts, stands, and similar original components; and
  • Original accessories included with the product.

Standalone accessories are covered only where the applicable product page or documentation identifies them as eligible for warranty coverage.

This warranty covers manufacturing and material defects only. It does not guarantee that components subject to heat, weather, or normal use will remain cosmetically unchanged.

Ceramic Components

Ceramic products naturally expand and contract during heating and cooling cycles.

As a result, minor surface crazing, glaze lines, hairline surface cracks, discoloration, or other cosmetic changes may occur over time.

Such conditions are not considered defects under this warranty when they do not materially affect the product’s structural integrity, safety, or normal operation.

A ceramic crack, fracture, or other condition that materially affects structural integrity or normal product function may qualify for warranty coverage if London Sunshine determines that it resulted from a defect in materials or workmanship.

Damage caused by impact, dropping, improper handling, improper storage, thermal shock, misuse, or other external causes is not covered.

Metal Components

Normal surface oxidation, discoloration, fading, staining, minor corrosion, or cosmetic changes to metal, stainless steel, cast iron, painted, or coated components are not considered manufacturing defects unless they result from a covered defect and materially affect the component’s structural integrity or normal function.

Customers are responsible for following applicable cleaning, seasoning, maintenance, storage, and weather-protection instructions.

Gaskets, Seals, and Other Wear Components

Gaskets, seals, and similar components are subject to normal wear from heat and use.

Manufacturing defects present during the warranty period may be covered, but normal deterioration, compression, discoloration, or replacement resulting from ordinary use is not covered.

Wood and Finished Components

Wooden handles, shelves, tables, and other finished components may naturally change color, weather, fade, expand, contract, or develop minor surface changes when exposed to outdoor conditions.

These cosmetic or weather-related changes are not covered unless they are caused by a manufacturing defect that materially affects the component’s structural integrity or intended function.

What Is Not Covered

Unless otherwise required by applicable law, this Limited Warranty does not cover damage, failure, or deterioration resulting from:

  • Normal wear and tear;
  • Cosmetic scratches, dents, chips, staining, fading, discoloration, surface crazing, or other changes that do not affect normal operation or structural integrity;
  • Improper assembly, installation, operation, maintenance, or storage;
  • Misuse, abuse, negligence, accident, dropping, impact, or improper handling;
  • Thermal shock or rapid temperature changes caused by improper use;
  • Use of lighter fluid, fuels, chemicals, or materials not recommended for the product;
  • Unauthorized modification, alteration, repair, or use of incompatible components;
  • Damage caused by third-party accessories or replacement parts;
  • Fire, flooding, storms, extreme weather, natural disasters, or other external events;
  • Rust, oxidation, corrosion, or deterioration caused by improper storage, salt, chemicals, extreme humidity, or environmental exposure;
  • Transportation or shipping damage after the customer has taken possession of the product;
  • Commercial, rental, institutional, or other non-residential use, unless the applicable product documentation expressly states otherwise;
  • Failure to follow London Sunshine’s product instructions, care instructions, or safety requirements; or
  • Products purchased from unauthorized sellers, except where otherwise required by applicable law.

Shipping damage, missing items, or incorrect shipments reported at or shortly after delivery are handled under London Sunshine’s Return & Refund Policy, rather than under this Limited Warranty.

Warranty Remedies

If London Sunshine confirms that a covered defect exists during the warranty period, London Sunshine may, as appropriate and subject to applicable law:

  • Provide a replacement component or part;
  • Repair the affected product or component;
  • Replace the product with the same or a comparable product; or
  • Provide another appropriate remedy, including a refund where required by applicable law or where London Sunshine determines that another remedy is appropriate.

London Sunshine may choose the most appropriate remedy based on the nature of the defect, availability of replacement parts or products, and other relevant circumstances.

Replacement of an individual component does not automatically require replacement of the complete product.

Replacement Parts and Warranty Period

Any replacement product or component provided under this Limited Warranty will be covered for the remainder of the original warranty period, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Providing a replacement part or product does not restart a new one-year warranty period.

Warranty Shipping

For an approved warranty claim, London Sunshine will provide instructions regarding replacement parts, return shipping, or other required steps.

Where London Sunshine requires the return of a covered defective product or component, London Sunshine will provide or authorize the appropriate return shipping method.

London Sunshine may provide approved replacement parts without requiring the complete product to be returned.

Customers must not independently arrange freight, return shipping, or disposal of a product or component for a warranty claim unless authorized by London Sunshine.

How to Make a Warranty Claim

To submit a warranty claim, contact London Sunshine Customer Support at Support@londonsunshine.com.

Please provide:

  • Your order number or valid proof of purchase;
  • Purchaser’s name and contact information;
  • Product name and model, if available;
  • A clear description of the issue;
  • Photos or videos showing the affected product or component; and
  • Any additional information reasonably requested by London Sunshine to evaluate the claim.

Please retain the product and affected components until London Sunshine has completed its review and provided instructions.

Do not return or dispose of any product or component before receiving instructions from London Sunshine.

Warranty Eligibility

This Limited Warranty applies to the original retail purchaser and is not transferable, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

Proof of purchase from London Sunshine or an authorized London Sunshine seller may be required.

Warranty coverage does not apply to products obtained through unauthorized resale channels where London Sunshine cannot reasonably verify the product’s original sale, condition, or authenticity, except where otherwise required by applicable law.

Consumer Rights

This Limited Warranty gives customers specific contractual warranty rights and is provided in addition to any rights and remedies available under applicable federal, state, provincial, or territorial consumer protection laws.

Nothing in this Limited Warranty excludes, restricts, or modifies any statutory warranty, guarantee, or other consumer right that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Where the terms of this Limited Warranty conflict with mandatory applicable law, the applicable law will control.
